I research, write, and edit every guide on Vaglio. My background is in selecting software at a nonprofit in Korea, where each tool had to be justified on cost before it was approved — so the reviews here lean on hands-on procurement experience and a habit of checking the price before the pitch.

This page is about the reviewer and the method. For the story of the site itself — what Vagliomeans and where it's headed — see the About page.

The verification process

Every guide follows the same checks before it's published, so a recommendation rests on current facts rather than a vendor's marketing:

  1. Prices come only from the vendor's official site. Figures are read straight from each company's own pricing page — never from third-party blogs, review roundups, or aggregators, which are often out of date.
  2. Every price is dated. Each article states the month its pricing was verified and flags the parts (promotions, tiers, add-ons) most likely to change after publication.
  3. Figures are re-checked over time.Verified prices are cached and revisited so guides don't quietly drift out of date as vendors restructure their plans.
  4. AI-assisted, human-reviewed. AI helps gather and structure the research; a person checks the pricing, the claims, and the reasoning — and signs off — before anything goes live.
  5. Trade-offs first, verdict second. Each option is shown at its best and its worst; the recommendation follows from the comparison, not from which vendor pays a commission.

What I cover

Areas of focus: SaaS · software comparison · AI tools · small business software · CRM software · accounting software · project management software · cybersecurity tools · web hosting. When a guide relies on affiliate links, that never changes a ranking — the full terms are on the disclosure page.
